Wow – what a whirlwind election we experienced in NJ this year.
Congratulations to our many NOWNJ PAC endorsees who were re-elected or elected for the first time this year.
- The 11th district was amazing in re-electing Vin Gopal by a landslide and his two NOW NJ PAC endorsed running mates, Margie Donlon and Luanne Peterpaul, ousted the incumbents!

- Specifically I wish to note that Liz Granier in LD21 came so close. . . so sorry Liz.
- and the amazing Christine Clarke in LD25 came so close as well and we are so sorry.
- A great win: Our own Diane Scarangella who is our NJNOW secretary, was elected to the Leonia City Council – congratulations to Diane!
Locally I was saddened to see my old hometown of Summit lose all of their races as I was to see Westfield lost as well. However, I am thrilled to see so many of our endorsees move into (our return to) the New Jersey State House and wish them all good luck and look forward to working with them in leading our state forward to protect women and girls’ rights.
