The website promoting the law firm run by a ranking Republican assemblyman has removed a section that offered to discredit “accusers” in sexual assault cases after women’s rights advocates said it encouraged victim blaming.

“We know, unfortunately, people accuse others of these types of crimes because of hurt feelings, or in anger over breaking up or even confusion over what actually happened,” read the webpage for Assemblyman Jon Bramnick’s law firm.
